2025 Changseongpae Youth Startup Academy Class 15

Through Class 15 of the Jeollanam-do Youth Startup Academy, we operated an accelerating program for 29 startups, achieving revenue growth, 108 jobs created, and approximately KRW 800 million in investment raised. (1) Program Overview IGEN Inc. participated as the operator of the 2025 Jeollanam-do Youth Startup Academy Class 15, delivering a comprehensive program of education, coaching, networking, and commercialization to support promising startups in the Jeonnam region. Built on Technology Management (MoT), the program offered practice-oriented curricula covering BM, IR, R&D, performance marketing, and AI utilization, while providing investment linkage, marketing, global expansion, and commercialization coaching tailored to each company’s growth stage to strengthen competitiveness and drive results. Through collaboration with regional innovation and specialized institutions, IGEN also contributed to activating the local startup ecosystem and building a foundation for sustainable growth. (2) Program Results Through Class 15, IGEN operated education, coaching, and commercialization programs for 29 startups. Key operating results included: ▲ budget execution rate of 29/29 (perfect score) ▲ education completion rate of 23/29 ▲ 12 collaboration projects among participants ▲ overall average attendance rate of 76%. S-CoP, customized specialty education, and policy-linkage programs received high average satisfaction scores of 4.7–4.93. The program also delivered 24 S-CoP sessions, 11 customized specialty education sessions (38 hours), and specialized coaching for 232 participants, supporting practice-oriented accelerating. On company performance, total revenue grew from approximately KRW 3.67 billion to approximately KRW 8.08 billion, with many companies recording growth rates of 200–600% or higher. Notably, Nosshi Farmer’s Shop achieved 94,279% growth, Meong-i-roum 6,146%, Mirae Technology Academy 630%, and Ji Food Co., Ltd. 602%. The program also created 108 jobs, and three companies successfully raised a combined KRW 810 million in investment, laying the groundwork for business expansion.

Dubai Joint Pavilion — Overview & Results

To support five Jeonnam content companies’ entry into the Middle East market, we operated a joint pavilion at the Dubai International Content Market, achieving 60 overseas buyer meetings and 8 MOUs. (1) Program Overview Through the 2025 Dubai International Content Market (DICM) JCIA Joint Pavilion Operation and Overseas Market Entry Support project, IGEN Inc. supported Jeonnam content companies in expanding into Middle Eastern and global markets. The project comprehensively supported five regional content companies with animation, broadcasting, and video IP through trailer enhancement, overseas buyer matching, joint pavilion operations, promotional materials production, and on-site stay support. Content localization—including English and Arabic translation, subtitles, dubbing, and mixing—together with company-level branding support further strengthened global business competitiveness. (2) Program Results Key results included: ▲ 60 overseas buyer meetings (300% of target) ▲ 8 MOUs and 1 NDA signed ▲ 5 trailer enhancements and 11 intellectual property registrations secured ▲ 2,000 copies of an integrated directory book produced ▲ 300 merchandise items utilizing content IP produced. The project also built networks with broadcasters and OTT platforms in the MENA region, including the UAE and Saudi Arabia, and established a foundation for Middle East market entry through local institutional roundtables and Korea 360 partnerships. In a participant satisfaction survey, 80% responded “very satisfied.” (Summary) Achievements included 60 overseas buyer meetings, 8 MOUs and 1 NDA, 5 content trailer enhancements, and 11 IP registrations, along with MENA regional network building (UAE, Saudi Arabia, etc.) and 80% participant satisfaction.

Jeonnam Tourism Foundation — Overview & Results

We operated a customized accelerating program for 22 Jeonnam tourism startups and supported 14 upgrade outcomes spanning consulting, crowdfunding, technology transfer, and IP acquisition. (1) Program Overview Through the 2025 Jeonnam Tourism Startup Upgrade Support Service, IGEN Inc. operated company diagnostics, mentoring, and customized accelerating programs aimed at overcoming growth stagnation and strengthening self-sufficiency among tourism startups in Jeonnam. For 22 tourism startups, we conducted management status and business model (BM) diagnostics and derived stage-specific priorities through expert mentoring in investment, content, and food. Ten companies selected through evaluation then received customized upgrade support—including crowdfunding, intellectual property (IP) acquisition, technology transfer, tourism package planning, BI/branding, and overseas market development. (2) Program Results Key results included: ▲ management diagnostics and consulting completed for 22 companies ▲ 14 customized upgrade projects delivered for 10 companies ▲ 3 crowdfunding campaigns, 4 IP acquisitions, 3 public technology transfers, and 4 tourism package / branding / exhibition support projects. Notably, Yeyudang achieved 655% of its Tumblbug funding goal and completed a perfume package patent application, while Farm to Global exceeded its funding target by 300% and upgraded products through technology transfer. Countryside Travel Lab also secured global expansion potential through participation in a Malaysia exhibition and buyer meetings (including MOU signing), generating tangible commercialization outcomes.

Gwangju Tourism Organization — Overview & Results

We operated specialized education, IR, and consulting programs for 16 Gwangju tourism companies, achieving 49 customized consulting sessions, a 100% completion rate, and a satisfaction score of 94. (1) Program Overview Through the 2025 Gwangju Tourism Company Growth-Stage Customized Support Program Operation Service, IGEN Inc. delivered specialized education and consulting programs to support growth and business upgrades for tourism companies in Gwangju. The program was structured as a staged growth support system—from participant recruitment through specialized education, customized consulting, best-practice site visits, IR League, and Demo Day—with 16 tourism companies ultimately selected and participating. (2) Program Results Key results included: ▲ approximately 21 hours 20 minutes of specialized education (119.35% of target) ▲ 49 company-customized consulting sessions (153.1% of target) ▲ 100% completion rate among participating companies ▲ average program satisfaction score of 94. Practice-oriented education and mentoring covering BM diagnostics, marketing strategy, AI utilization, fundraising, and IR pitching helped companies refine business strategies and strengthen investment readiness, while site visits and networking programs also laid the foundation for inter-company collaboration.
